The Tamiya 9801112M Mabuchi FA-130 motor is the brushed DC motor included in many of the Tamiya gearboxes and educational toys.

Basic specifications:

  • Operating voltage: 1.5-3 V
  • No-load speed at 3 V: about 12,300 RPM
  • Stall current at 3 V: about 2.10 A
  • Stall torque at 3 V: about 36 g-cm

For more information, please see model FA-130RA-18100 in the FA-130RA data sheet (58k pdf). This motor is intended for 3 V operation; running it at higher voltages will shorten its lifetime.
